Families

Albi Education partners with families to create personalised strategies and routines that enhance the overall wellbeing of both children and their home life. We take a collaborative approach, working together to overcome challenges and foster a supportive, thriving environment.

Working with families
Who can we support?
  • Families who want to learn how to best support their child through their educational journey

  • Children with behavioural concerns preventing them from engaging in everyday activities

  • Children diagnosed with a disability (ASD, ADHD, ODD, GDD, ID etc.)

  • Children disengaged or withdrawn from school or external activities

Family consultation

We start with an open, thoughtful conversation with the primary caregivers. In this initial meeting, we take the time to understand your routines, environments, and relationships. Together, we identify the most important areas for growth and set meaningful goals. Whenever possible, we include the child in this process, ensuring their voice is heard and valued.

2

Observation and Analysis

Following the initial meeting, we observe the child in a familiar environment to identify areas for growth and any potential barriers. If the child is old enough, we engage them in a play-based conversation to gain insight into their perspective and ensure their voice is part of the process.

3

Strategies and Support

After a thorough analysis, we provide families with tailored strategies aligned with the goals set during the initial stages. Strategies provided are from experience working with Allied Health Professionals such as Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Behaviour Specialists. We model these strategies to ensure clarity and confidence in their application. It's essential that families take the lead in implementing these approaches, creating a consistent and supportive environment for the child. Throughout this journey, Albi Education offers ongoing feedback and coaching, empowering families to make lasting, positive changes.

4

Review and Adapt

Throughout the process, we stay connected, regularly checking in to monitor the effectiveness of the strategies. Together, we review progress and make adjustments as needed, ensuring active, sustained engagement and meaningful growth for the child and family.
