Hello
Melissa Nasser is a passionate educator specialising in behaviour, inclusion and engagement. She is focused on helping families and schools access support and founded Albi Education to provide effective solutions for those in need.

Our Story
Melissa founded Albi Education to address the growing need for behaviour and engagement support among families and schools. Faced with long waitlists for allied health services, many families were missing crucial opportunities for early intervention. Through Albi Education, Melissa aims to provide timely access to support, equipping both families and educators with effective tools and strategies to help the children in their care thrive.
Melissa’s journey began as a nanny, supporting children and families who needed extra care in the home. It was through this experience that she discovered her passion for working collaboratively to help children thrive. She went on to study a Bachelor of Primary and Secondary Education at Monash University, with a strong focus on inclusion and supporting diverse learners.

Her career took her to London, where she worked alongside progressive educators and schools leading meaningful change. It was there that Melissa gained insight into the gaps in support within the Australian education system, inspiring her to return home and continue her studies. She completed a Master of Education in Applied Behaviour Analysis, where her passion for behaviour support truly took shape. Through her research into collaborative practices, she developed the skills to identify behaviours and implement sustainable, positive change both in the classroom and at home.

Melissa later gained further experience in early childhood intervention, working closely with a team of allied health professionals including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and behaviour specialists. This multidisciplinary approach deepened her understanding of the targeted strategies children need to succeed.

With these insights, Melissa continued supporting families within the education system. However, she noticed many schools and families faced barriers to consistent support due to long waitlists or fragmented services. In response, she founded Albi Education, a platform through which she shares her knowledge, experience, and passion to help children, families, and schools access the support they deserve.
